Glass Shapes

Sea Glass Earrings

This is the first set of earrings from my summer collection (more coming out as they’re finished).

I’m very excited to share these with you not just because they were a tough problem to solve (you know I love my problem-solving). But also because of the intent behind the materials I use here, and the materials I intend to use in the entire “One Man’s Treasure…” collection (weird and wonderful discarded and upcycled findings).

This fun and casual but sturdy set is made of pure frosted finish copper, paired with Gold Rutilated Quartz studs and Gibraltar sea glass.

The concept behind the whole collection invites you to remember that every situation and person you come across has multiple ‘faces’. What may seem unworthy of your attention, may be someone’s concept of treasure. It’s all about perception. Which actually means it’s all about choice.

I hope to inspire you to remember this, and to use the A.B.C.D.D. method to reframe situations you want to change. At any moment you can re-frame, shift angle, see it differently. It’s not the easy route, but with practice it turns into a philosophy for life that helps you live in your full colour and shine.

Watch the video in the gallery for the full story of how these beauties came about.

And if these earrings turn out to be your treasure – and you take them home – I’d love to see how you rock them – please share freely on Instagram or your favorite social.

MY SIZE: 5.5cm L x 2cm W — 6.5cm L 2cm W

MY GEMS: Sea Glass from Gibraltar, Gold Quartz, Warm Copper.

SOLD – Feather Warrior

SOLD: this beauty has now found a happy home with their unique human. I make only one of everything. IF, however, you’re totally head-over-heels with this design, reach out to me – perhaps we can find your solution.

Garnet, Feather, vintage Findings, and Copper Drop Earrings

I love these earrings so much – they’re just so feisty – yet feminine and elegant. The deep red wine of the 14 garnets compliments the copper forever links. And the sparkly bits just add that much more glamour to the whole ‘occasion’.

I named them Feather Warrior because they mean serious business when it comes to style. And actually – there is a feather and a sword on each of them :o) Watch the video for their full story.

If you love them – I hope that each time you put them on you feel that little bit taller in the way you show up in your daily life. I hope you feel full of life’s zest and the wise warrior spirit.

Remember that your jewelry can be a powerful ally to remind you of how you wish to be in your self. How to never lose your colour and shine.

SOLD – Riddle-Me-This

SOLD: this beauty has now found a happy home with their unique human. I make only one of everything. IF, however, you’re totally head-over-heels with this design, reach out to me – perhaps we can find your solution.

Pearls, Coral, Sea Glass, Glass, Opalite, Green Apatite Totem Earrings

Fun, bright, quirky and elegant – these are definitely a playful pair of totem earrings that will bring out the kid in you. Perfect with jeans and a white T. Or any of the other colours as a focus. n nThe Riddle-Me-This earrings made it into my One Man’s Treasure collection because they should inspire you to be curious AND a little more adventurous. Their design should just whisper adventure in your ear :o)

The tactile metal case caresses the glass inside with a unique weave. The glass pieces are from the beach of Gibraltar – yes, we have 6 little beaches in our 2.5 square miles! Then the chilies ‘appear’ and make you wonder – what – why chilies! But you smile and know the lot just works together: colours, textures, movement…

Enjoy! Take every opportunity to live in your full colour & shine. As I say in the video: I’m totally jealous you get to pick these – please if you do – at least share a pic with me on your chosen social. Share if they make you happy.

Regal Heart

Lapis Lazuli Woven Earrings

The Heart collection is very near the core of who I am. In fact, it is one of my Core Values – Love.

And as literal as they are these heart shapes are not cheesy or childish. I loved following where the design wanted to take me with these. Especially the smaller earring only came through as the current design after I had done something else with it. They are playful, elegant, and Regal. The regal comes from the Lapis Lazuli stones. Lapis has long been revered as the gemstone of Royalty.

The design of these earrings attempts to pair up two juxtaposed values: playfulness and royalty. They invite you to show your full spectrum – to wear your heart on your sleeve (in this case, your ears). Like all the pieces in the Hearty collection, they aim to remind you to be kind AND candid and kinda’ playful :o)

They’d go very well with denim, or with a navy suit. Wear them with pride.

Sea Berries

Corals, Pearls, and Opalite Totem Earrings

Cherry cheerfulness! That’s all I can think of when I look at these little chaps. It’s my ultimate expression of how design can afford us a feeling – momentarily, but also as often as you catch a glimpse of them in the mirror. n nJust try to imagine yourself wearing them and not smiling! Nah – neither can I ;o)

And that’s what I hope they’ll bring to you if you decide to get them. Because you know – when you smile genuinely, you give others the permission to do so too. If you decide to make them yours – enjoy and please share a picture with me on your favorite social space.

See the video to witness their dance. And I’ve also ‘braved’ sharing a few behind-the-scenes pics in the gallery – in case you’re intrigued about how they come to life…

P.S. Remember – you can use any of your favorite jewelry pieces to bring you more of what you want to feel on a daily basis. All you need to do is intentionally link the two together and re-iterate that meaning each time you put that jewelry piece on.

Shape-Me

Pleated Asymmetrical EarringsCarnelian, Copper & Silver Plated Earrings

This set almost didn’t make it to you…

Firstly because their shape is exquisite (if I may say so myself). And also because they have 2 of my favorite stones (shape and type). I had seen a shape I absolutely fell in love with in some magazine (but executed in a totally different way from this) – so I took on the challenge (that’s a superpower I practice regularly). As expected – it was very hard to secure in a perfectly curved, almost Yin-Yang curve.

The design is unusual, and the copper parts are textured with a matt-like finish – so it really showcases that natural orangey-pinky colour. They look really good on actually. Especially with the very unusual triangular Carnelian stones (my favorite stone – oh, I said that already).

Their unconventional everything renders itself to whatever you’re in the mood for. You can juxtapose them with a floaty dress on a summer outing. Or make them stand out with a clashing bright green shirt or suit. They’d even bring a bit of colour and chic to a white-based outfit. Either way, there is no other pair like that anywhere! n nApart from the straight earring being able to give someone a decent prod (but don’t worry I’ve made sure it’s safe for you), the Carnelians in these earrings are believed to bring the wearer confidence, physical vitality and empowerment to act to improve your world.

The stones I’ve used here are one of a kind in shape and colouring. I chose them to bring an opposing angularity to what is a very fluid design.

The other powerful thing to note is how there are sharp edges in both earrings, but they are satin-smooth, and very very gently finished off.

I love putting this ambiguity together. It creates a curious discomfort in the eye of the beholder… one that just has to be explained.

How you choose to use your jewellery can bring you a lot of joy and make you intentional about how you show up in your world. So often we’re cultivated into what our environment (physical and social) needs us to be. Your jewellery can be a covert or an overt statement of YOU. Even if you’re wearing overalls at a building site – your jewellery can create a mindstate that grounds you and nourishes you. Use it like that – it’s an opportunity for fun each day!

Breeze

Sea Glass & Opalites Earrings

Another piece to join my summer collection “One Man’s Treasure…” – in which I’m inspired to use my usual semi-precious stones but cleverly combined with different findings. In this case – sea glass from the beaches of Gibraltar (yes – my tiny home).

This is a very light and airy design – it makes you want to float. It’s summer personified, but maybe with a tiny fresh breeze.

The frostiness of the sea glass is calming the shiny translucence of the opalites that surround it. Then the metal frames and structures the lot in the finished shape before you :o) n nMy wish for you (if you love these little girls), it to feel airy and summery and springy each time you put them on. Let your step be light and your mind be full of summer breeze.

Send me a pic of you with them on if you get them.

P.S. Watch the video to see them move :o) And if you’re curious about how they came to life I’ve added a couple of behind-the-scenes pics for you to giggle at.

MY SIZE: 5.5cm L x 1.5cm W

SOLD – A Story

SOLD: this beauty has now found a happy home with their unique human. I make only one of everything. IF, however, you’re totally head-over-heels with this design, reach out to me – perhaps we can find your solution.

Sea Glass, Cornelian, Agate, and Apatite Earrings

The design for these earrings literally revealed itself to me bit by bit. From the sea glass from the beaches of Gibraltar (my tiny home), through the quirky medley of vintage findings (each with a story of their own no doubt), all the way to the flame-y Cornelian and finally the dreamy Agate.

Watch the video in the gallery to see how they ‘behave’ and to get the meaning of each stone I decided to use. It won’t shock you to know these were not just about making pretty… although they totally are :o)

These earrings are another pair of my summer collection One Man’s Treasure… (which BTW has nothing to do with the gender, and all to do with exactly the opposite of what you may consider extravagant).

If you like them – let these earrings be a reminder – each time you put them on – that our lives are a story we build bit by bit, from what our environment reveals to us. Hold it all with gratitude and reverence, because it’s all a part of your fabric. Just like your style – is an expression of the person you’ve come to be to date 🙂

Please share a photo of how you wear them – I’d love to see.

Spira Hoops

Wide Weave Copper Earrings

*from The Fool Collection

Light and airy like cotton candy at the fun-fare. These medium sized hoops are deceptively dainty. But they also have robustness in their width and they’re pretty firm construction-wise.

You’d have seen my standard version Spira-Hoops in their different sizes. This is a cousin of those, and while you can’t do the Dangles on these, the width here gives you all the drama you need.

he new copper is pink and fluffy. But as the metal ages, you’ll also get to explore the darker shades and enjoy them as if you’ve got a new set of earrings. Then as soon as you feel like pink again – it’s a quick clean and you’re back in.

Anywho – these Spira-Hoops made it into The Fool collection because they’re light and playful, but sturdy and last the journey. They’re fun in the daytime, and light enough to wear all day long while adding presence to your style. Wear them when you are or need to be light-hearted and springy.

If you end up taking them home – please post a picture with them on so I can see how you’re enjoying them.

SOLD – Dream Catcher Hoops

SOLD: this beauty has now found a happy home with their unique human. I make only one of everything. IF, however, you’re totally head-over-heels with this design, reach out to me – perhaps we can find your solution.

Large Brass Hoop Earrings

These are simple yet very unusual earrings. I call them Dream-Catchers because they look like them, but also because the design came to me as a result of a conversation with a dear friend. For some reason when I shared with him that I’m starting a jewelry brand, he just kept telling me I should make dream-catchers for hanging on the reverse view car mirrors… I remember I spent the entire conversation thinking to myself – what does that have to do with earrings – hahaha!

But the Dream-Catchers design insisted they be made. They are weird in how they attach to your ear. And they certainly make a statement with their size. But the thing I love even more is that they make you think – how are they hanging… And one last surprise up their proverbial sleeve: there is an add-on element that you can change around to create length when you need it.

I’m sure you don’t need an explanation by now about why they are a part of the Go-Big collection. At 70mm in diameter – they won’t go unnoticed. So be brave – take them for a party! Or take them to work – the message you choose to send to the outside world with these is for your mind only.

The fact that their corals are so bright red will only aid in the standout and be noticed intent. Watch the video to see the different combo possibilities.

I can see these with a dress or a snazzy suit, and even better – catch some dreams in a pristine white T-shirt?

Whatever you decide – please share a photo of yourself enjoying them.
