Folded Copper & Chainmaile Peridot Bracelet

*NOTE: the circumference of this bracelet is 16 cm. If you love it and want it, but you need it slightly larger or smaller, message me beforehand and I can adjust it to your desired size.

This piece was born from a vision that struck me one morning. Usually, my designs evolve as I work, but this one emerged with perfect clarity: to capture water’s flow and adaptability using the most unexpected medium—copper.

The magic of copper is its duality—pliable when heated (like a sheet of pasta), rigid when cooled. Just like us, it can transform to meet the moment. One minute we’re soft and flexible, the next, sharp and strong. In this bracelet, I’ve paired the warmth and energy of copper with delicate green peridots to symbolize growth, renewal, and the natural ebb and flow of life. Their colour is only matched by the green hues in the copper (all intentional by the way).

The chainmaille structure mirrors the fluidity of water, with each link moving freely and adapting to your movements, while the rigid, angular section contrasts beautifully—offering a visual and tactile reminder (affordance) of our own capacity to be both fluid AND strong. n nWear it with the bold, sharp side up when you want to channel confidence and edge. Or flip it to showcase its softer side. Style it as you feel it. I think if you love this bracelet and order it – you’ll already have a strong bond with it’s design – you’ll also probably know what in your wardrobe is in alignment with the message you want to embody when you wear it.

Either way – this piece will style the outfit (as opposed to the other way around), and it’s very easy to put on and comfortable (watch the video to see the details). The sharp edge is actually smooth – so no danger of injury there – it just looks ‘mean’ :o)
