Spira Hoops – Medium

Medium Spira-Hoop Earrings

*with multiple dangle options

These earrings are the medium version of a signature shape I created after I saw an ancient set of earrings from the Byzantine era. Granted, theirs were hollowed-out metal, but their shape made me want to try to re-make them in a more modern way.

So I made these in this medium size first. But then quickly saw how they would be awesome in the small and large sizes too. The set of three really gives you all the styles you’d need for any occasion. They look robust, but because of the way I’ve weaved the metal, they’re like the aero chocolate balls – light and airy so easy to wear, you’ll feel no ear fatigue no matter how long you wear them for. I even sleep in my small pair sometimes.

And yes – you figured correctly – I own a pair of each size. But if you’re undecided about which size to get, I’d say start with this Medium size. It’s the most versatile – it can effortlessly transition from day to night and from casual to flirty, or out to dinner. You just need to match your dangles to the occasion. Or wear them without dangles.

They’re the ultimate chameleon accessory, because they also travel well – you can take one small set and one medium, or a small and a large. Then pack a tiny pouch full of fun colour and size dangles, and you’re set for the day, a nighttime party, or elegant evenings.

Angels

Asymmetric Earring to Pendant Set with Medley of Semi-precious Stones

These are genuinely one of my favorite pieces I’ve produced (if not THE). Not just because they’re so quirky and colourful, but also because they’re called Angels!

They’re fun and light-hearted, AND elegant. Which is why they’ll go with any outfit – even a sulky black number (except you won’t be able to be sulky for too long ;o)

In terms of the design: it came to me from the urge to put together geometric shapes in an intricate framework. I had in mind to use different texture metals and stones, as well as different colours – but without looking like a circus.

The shape of an Angel appeared organically as I was playing with the positioning of some shapes I’d made. For me a lot of design works on the feeling I get, as I follow where the metals take me. It either feels/looks right, or uncomfortable, or just wrong… sometimes I can’t even say why…

The stones I used are a deliberate medley of colours and fun: pink Corals, pink Opals, Golden Citrines, and green and blue Apatites (I’ve linked out to the meanings of each of the stones in case you enjoy those stories). But to the senses – this is an invite to play. Innocently and cheekily. To push the line a little in a good-hearted way. To state a ‘secret message’ to yourself and others – intentionally.

No Apologies

Keshi Pearls Chainmaille Earrings & Necklace Set

This is going to give you a little bit more of an opportunity to see the set ‘in action’ and to see the movement in them and why I was raving about them in the first place.

OK – this earring and necklace set is called No Apologies (a twist on the Sorry! Not Sorry! meme that’s going around of late). And their whole design story started with (and is named after) the non-apologetic attention-raising size and colour nuances of the main characters: the three massive Keshi pearls.

Basically, I had ordered them online, and as you’d know, when you’re ordering things online you don’t get to touch them, or to actually see them in different lights, so I didn’t know what to expect. But when I received them I was absolutely shocked… in a positive way… luckily!

They are just so weird. You can see how their colours dance from lighter greys to the typical white pearl colors, and then to this almost rusty, but coppery hue.

So immediately when I saw the pearls I thought to myself, okay, I can see them embraced and caressed by a slinky copper and brass graduated chain weave! I wanted the metal to continue the 3D flow of the pearls and to carry their colours and play with them. To be fluid, liquid-like in its movement. To never look the same twice.

Which is why I called them No Apologies, because they’re unapologetically individual. You will not see another set of pearls like that set in this way. They’re beautiful to look at, but they’re even more stunning to touch. And the colors are absolutely stunning and bold. And their size is equally unapologetic.

What I love more than anything else about this set though, is that they will flare up a basic denim outfit, as well as a basic work suite. So, you can play with how you style them – whatever makes you happy goes. Just know – you won’t go stealth with these on.

Co-Green Play

Folded Copper & Green Apatite Earrings

OK – you’ll probably notice anyway – so I’ll come clean: the name is just a play on copper and green. I genuinely had no idea what to call these… I just know they are playful – they bring a smile to my heart with their little green Apatites.

The copper never ceases to amaze me with its nuances. This time I managed to colour it in green hues which is almost hauntingly complimentary to the Apatites.

Apatites are believed to promote calm, health, and emotional well-being.

So if you choose these beauties don’t let their spirit down – their spirit is what YOU see in them. Beauty and meaning is always in the eye and heart of the ‘beholder’.

As usual – these are one-of-a-kind – so enjoy them.

Vintage Elements & Glass Beads Shoulder Skim Copper Earrings

Let’s get a little weird, shall we? These earrings, affectionately known as Creaktures – are like the lovable monsters of the jewelry world. Born from vintage findings with sparkly black metal, glass beads, and hints of copper, they teeter somewhere between chic disco and dark fairytale. Every time you slip these in, you’re tapping into a raw, unapologetic vibe that whispers “I’m here to shake things up.

They’re not just earrings; they’re a tactile experience (an affordance in a way). The disco ball and disco disk, skim your shoulders, almost as if they’re nudging you to stand taller, to take up a bit more space.

And isn’t that the point of owning your style!

Jewelry should remind you to show up fully, in all your wonderfully complex, contradictory glory. Creaktures are here for that very reason, encouraging you to unleash your boldest self with their bold corners and ‘creaky’ charm.

With these on, you’re starting conversations before you even say a word. They’re strange. They’re stunning. They’re exactly what you need when you’re ready to step out with intention. But let’s be clear, these aren’t for everyone. Only the brave who crave a little dis-order need apply.

Sculpted Copper & Citrine Earrings

Bold. Radiant. Unapologetic. I named these earrings for their striking resemblance to Olympic torches. Crafted from folded copper, they radiate an array of captivating hues achieved through heat treatment—a testament to the unpredictable beauty of this medium.

Each earring features stunning and large citrine gemstones, their golden warmth enlivened by natural occlusions that just add to the mystery of their unmissable presence.

Citrine, known as the “stone of abundance,” is believed to carry energy that fosters optimism, creativity, and personal power. These earrings are more than a statement piece—they’re an invitation to show up as your brightest, most vibrant self – unapologetic self.

Styling Tip: Perfect for those with an elegant neck to flaunt. These earrings don’t just complement an outfit; they command attention.

Asymmetric Line-Streamed Earrings with Jade, Gold Rutilated Quartz, Opal & Vintage Findings

Discover the deceptive allure of these seemingly neutral-colored earrings that reveal their true beauty upon closer inspection. The star of this handcrafted pair is the mesmerizing gold rutilated quartz, featuring delicate golden rutiles within crystal-clear quartz. These captivating stones offer a new perspective with each glance, making them truly unique.

I’ve designed these earrings to be both easy to wear and effortlessly sophisticated. The combination of almost-golden jade stones and creamy opals adds depth and elegance to the piece. Vintage findings provide a subtle sparkle, while the cabochon-style vintage dangle lends a touch of grounding nod to the past.

The versatility of Cream Tango allows you to elevate a basic outfit or add a playful touch to more formal attire. I personally love styling them with my favorite jeans, a cream blazer, and a gold vest for a night out. Alternatively, they pair beautifully with a white or cream collared shirt for a polished daytime look.

These earrings boast a comfortable weight, substantial enough to feel present without being heavy or tiring on the ears. They’re the perfect accessory to express your inner world through your personal style.

As with all my creations, Cream Tango is a one-of-a-kind piece, handcrafted with care and attention to detail. By incorporating vintage elements, I’m committed to sustainable jewelry-making practices that reduce environmental impact while celebrating individual expression.

Textured Copper & Pearls Asymmetric Earrings

This design is all about the pearls that adorn the metal. We don’t often experience the vision of Copper with the snowiness of pearls. But to me the attraction of the juxtaposition was irresistible.

Not only are you playing off the humbleness of copper against the sophistication of pearls, but you’re also mixing in copper’s rigidity with the fluid satin of the pearls… somehow the warmth of both materials unites them in something not unlike music. Hence the name :o)

I loved working on the textures in the metal – they echo the textures of the large Baroque pearl that’s the star of the design. The copper literally hugs the Baroque in an embrace (watch the video to see it).

This pair may be sensuous in design origin, but make no mistake – the earrings are robust to the touch. They play off the gentle sophistication of the pearls and stand firmly in metal armour! I can’t even dare to have an opinion on how to style them (but I’ll try ;o) White suite. Or a white shirt with a natural brown or camel leather skirt. Or for more casual vibe – go with jeans. But a collared white shirt seems a must.

Anyway – if you love them and end up getting them – why not reach out (#myfullcolourandshine) and show me what you’ve done with them. Most importantly – I hope they make you feel more of who you want to show up as. Because your jewelry is an inseparable part of your personal style – the style that comes from inside you – by first knowing who you truly are.

SOLD – Rose Bravo

Cream Tango-Asymmetric Line-Streamed Earrings-129

Totem-Style Asymmetric Earrings with Cornelians, Moonstones, Pink Opals & Vintage Findings

Rose Bravo is another unique pair of asymmetric totem-style earrings that embody both elegance and a touch of whimsy. These earrings are a testament to the importance of being present – something I sometimes still allow myself to forget. In this instance – I had to remake them three times – they were quite the problem-solving challenge for me. I’m happy to report they turned out perfect :o)

The centerpiece of Rose Bravo are two stunning large Cornelian stones – my favorite semi-precious stones. Often confused with Carnelian, this deep, creamy red stone derives its name from the Latin word for heart, “cor.” Its rich color and occasional white flecks add depth and character to the design.

Complementing the Cornelian are soft pink opals, which provide a gentle contrast to the more regal vintage findings. These antique elements add a touch of sophistication and shine to the earrings. Delicate moonstones crown the design, enhancing the overall elegance of the piece.

A standout feature of Rose Bravo is my signature “forever link,” a symbol of durability and longevity. The earrings have a satisfying weight, substantial enough to feel present without being heavy or uncomfortable.

I would style these earrings with outfits in similar deep tones or pair them with neutral whites to create a sophisticated/thoughtful pop of color. As usual, the versatility of Rose Bravo allows for endless styling possibilities, empowering you to express your unique vision and personal style.

They would go equally well if you decide to dress them with a floral pattern, or a pair of jeans (you know me and jeans!).

As with all my creations, Rose Bravo is a one-of-a-kind piece, 100% handcrafted with care and attention to detail. By incorporating vintage elements, I’m committed to sustainable jewelry-making practices that reduce environmental impact while celebrating your individual expression.

Multi-Colour Sea Glass Chandelier Earrings

It’s still unbelievable to me that something as benign as sea glass can enchant my imagination so much and so often. I guess it’s their journey – it’s so much like our own life’s journey. They were tossed out, then spent years, and in some cases decades, being jostled by the waters they travelled in. Some waters gentle. Some exquisitely harsh. But all with their effect on the end result.

That type of journey demands respect, I guess…

These earrings are a nod to the well known dream catchers – except the heroes here are tiny sea glass pieces of many colours.

They combine several techniques and their movement is just a bliss to wear. They have a good weight to them but not heavy. And no matter where you go they’ll brighten up your day AND your outfit. Enjoy if you decide to make them yours. I hope they bring out the play and fun in you.
